The Egatz Epitaph

Survivre avec un minimum de dégâts.

New Look

I didn’t like the initial theme, so I found a new one and have been deep under the hood. BBEdit is still the best tool for this kind of stuff I’ve ever used. Hopefully, I’ll get things wrapped here and start posting some interesting content. It’ll be tough to get back into this kind of writing, especially with the book promos coming up. Letter writing is sorely missed, as are the people I used to write letters to.

Blogging Again

A quick first post. In 1995 I wrote a blog every weeknight. The Egatz Epitaph chronicled the death of the American Dream. Each night after working on a Mac all day I sat down and coded a story I had just written, usually on a current topic, in TeachText. I bought Larry Aronson’s first book, and The Egatz Epitaph was blogging before they called it blogging. The long hours were a grind, but messing with the new technology was fun. Earning money from this endeavor was out of the question, but boy did the hate mail pour in when I stopped doing it. Hopefully, this version will last longer and be easier to put together. Technology marches on, and so do I. Thanks for coming by. Again.
